Peerless Lake Water Treatment Plant

Located in far Northern Alberta, near Trout Lake, this water treatment plant required a mechanical design to effectively serve the community of Peerless Lake.  A large makeup air unit was designed that is responsible for the ventilation in this water treatment plant. Supplementary heating is accomplished by unit heaters and smaller electric heaters located throughout the building. Several large propane tanks were required to serve any gas fired appliances in the building due to its remote location. Along with the piping required for the propane, piping for domestic services such as hot and cold water as well as sanitary was designed to serve all fixtures in the building.
