The headquarters for the Edmonton branch of this community planning company required a plumbing, heating and cooling system designed. In a modern building with extensive glass work throughout, this creates large solar heat gains. A mechanical system was designed that takes advantage of this natural heat in winter and minimizes its effects in summer.
In addition to this energy saving equipment, geothermal energy is utilized to further reduce utility costs. The result is a supremely efficient mechanical design that works efficiently year round.
