Building Emergency Generators

ES Engineering was retained by TELUS as a prime consultant to design building backup emergency generators. As the prime consultant, ES Engineering not only manages the other engineering disciplines such as electrical, structural and architectural as required to properly complete a project but also handles construction administration; ensuring construction conforms to the prepared construction drawings, standards and specifications. As well, ES Engineering acts as the primary contact and source of information for the client.

Third Floor HVAC Renovations

Extensive renovations were done on the third floor HVAC system of the TELUS Toll building. Many existing duct branches and associated air diffusers were removed to make room for new and more efficient variable air volume (VAV) boxes, ductwork and diffusers. As well, air from existing VAV boxes was redistributed throughout the floor to provide more efficient cooling of critical equipment.

New UPS addition and Transformer Rooms

Addition a new UPS to the existing UPS room and building to new transformer rooms to accommodate new transformers. ES Engineering as the prime consultant responsible to prepare design documents and construction administration for architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural engineering as required to properly complete a project. As well, ES Engineering acts as the primary contact and source of information for the client.

TV Power Room Expansion

Expansion to the existing TV power room at Toll Building. Project consists of a renovation to the existing TV Power Room to accommodate new battery racks, new transformers and equipment. ES Engineering as the prime consultant responsible to prepare design documents and construction administration for architectural, mechanical and electrical engineering as required to properly complete a project.

West MCC (Motor Control Centre) Replacement

Project consists of replacement the existing MCC with a smart MCC. Intelligent MCCs represents a new and functional approach to the switchgear architecture, utilizing new technologies without the limitation of the conventional components. ES Engineering as the prime consultant responsible to prepare design documents and construction administration for as required to properly complete a project.

New Power Room

Design a new power and transformer room. ES Engineering as the prime consultant responsible to prepare design documents and construction administration for mechanical and electrical engineering as required to properly complete a project.

Addition of 6th Floor Laboratory Power Supply

Addition a new transformer and UPS to accommodate new requirements in 6th floor laboratory power requirements. ES Engineering as the prime consultant responsible to prepare design documents and construction administration for electrical engineering as required to properly complete a project. As well, ES Engineering acts as the primary contact and source of information for the client.
