ES Engineering as prime consultant was hired to design a new air conditioning system to replace the existing in-efficient system. Proper airflow was necessary to prevent overheating of equipment and to maintain a comfortable working space for personnel, this required effective placement of air and ventilation outlets to maximize airflow. Circulation of air is also vital for exhausting any dangerous gases that may be emitted from the batteries. Wise placement of air terminals reduces energy consumption while still providing a comfortable working environment.
