Many mechanical upgrades and renovations were performed at EPCORs North service center

Offices

Existing fire sprinklers and air handling equipment was relocated to accommodate renovations.

Transformer Room

Existing heaters were required to be removed to accommodate more efficient and modern units. Removal and installation was designed in such a way as to minimize impact on the existing system, saving costs by reducing unnecessary work. As well, any work performed was required not to disturb the equipment in this vital room.

Paint Shop

The handling of paint requires proper ventilation as well as fire protection services to provide a safe and comfortable working environment. A design incorporating all of these factors was created for the North service Center. New ductwork, sprinklers and mechanical equipment was installed to meet the stringent requirements for a paint shop.

Kitchen Exhaust

Renovations to the existing kitchen exhaust system included removal of duct work and installation of a fire suppression system as well as new ducting. Installation of additional air openings was required to accommodate the renovated kitchen exhaust.

Cafeteria

New equipment requiring plumbing services was installed and a new piping layout was designed to accommodate this new equipment.

Security Desk

An additional air outlet was routed and installed to serve the security desk location as well as new sprinkler heads.
